MEET MEAGHAN I became an event planner because I LOVE celebrating special days. I love bringing together all the details to ensure the greatest celebration goes off without a hitch. I began working for Sweet Pea Events in 2010, and loved it so much that I eventually ended up purchasing the business and today am the owner and lead planner of Sweetpea Events. My favorite part of the planning process is when I can bring the perfect vendor team together for each one of my client’s.

When I’m not planning special days I volunteer my time with the Children’s Health Holiday Parade, The Birthday Party Project, and by being a Young Life leader. MEET KELLY I started Sweet Pea Events in 2007 after having spent several years working in the industry. I was a Wedding Coordinator at my church for 1.5 years, then started my own business as I realized it was possible for me to become an Entrepreneur. Before the wedding industry, I was Director of Human Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company so I love bringing my business background into what I do now. I loved every part of planning special days for wonderful couples, and was lucky enough to bring Meaghan onto the team in 2010 and a few years later, entrusted her as the new owner of Sweetpea Events!

Iced Grande Americano with 3 pumps white chocolate (YUM) My sweet sons Carson and Cole, and my best friend and hubby Chris My incredible friends and family who encourage me every day and make this dream of owning my own business possible My church family, dark chocolate, yoga, travel, tennis and wine Kelly is also a serial entrepreneur and has started several other companies, and is also a speaker and consultant for the wedding industry.
