Wantful

Shopping for gifts just got a whole lot easier! Wantful provides an easy way of shopping for gifts that are stylish and personable. They have so many different types of gifts that you’re guaranteed to find exactly what you’re looking for. They have their gifts separated into categories: home, food/wine, outdoor, his and hers. Not only do they have these gifts available to purchase on the spot but they also have a recommendations tab. If you click on the tab it takes you to a page that asks you a series of questions about the person you are buying the gift for. After getting some information about the gift recipient they give you a selection of gifts that they think would be best and you can browse through them for your favorites. Once you select your favorites (you can have 12 favorites), you can add them to a catalog (either a book or an online catalog) that can be sent to the person you are buying for. They then get to browse the catalog and select their favorite gift! It’s a bulletproof plan for ensuring you get them exactly what they want!
This is a great way to get the perfect gift for anyone, but what we’re most excited about is the Wedding Shop! At the wedding shop on Wantful you can choose from the categories: bridesmaids, groomsmen, your guests and the happy couple. They have a great selection of gifts from any of the categories, or you can use the recommendation tab to give the catalogs as gifts to anyone involved in the wedding.
Make sure to bookmark Wantful to your browser because you are not going to want to forget about them when you’re in desperate need of a fabulous gift!

Jennifer + Jerry’s Wedding
When Jennifer first called to inquire about her wedding, I knew immediately that we would have a blast working together. She selected our full planning package so we planned every little detail from start to finish. We loved her vibrant color pallet, which consisted of eggplant and watermelon with accents of platinum. Please enjoy all of these images from Jennifer Yarbro Photography and congrats to Jennifer and Jerry!

We were so honored to be a part of this sweet wedding earlier this year! We have had the great pleasure of working with the bride Katie in the past, she is an awesome florist with DiFiori! We knew immediately all of the décor would be fab and definitely wanted to help so that they were able to enjoy their day to the fullest! The Ceremony took place at Gardens in Fair Park, and then the reception took place at The Texas Museum of Automotive History!

Bridesmaid Dresses: What’s Hot
Posted by: |
As I browse my Facebook news feed, I can see that love is in the air! Between the plethora of weddings and engagements, it’s hard NOT to get drawn in to “wedding mode”. And it looks like The Today Show caught the bug, too!
A few weeks ago, they featured a great segment highlighting bridesmaids dress trends for 2012. Their tips inspired me to put my scavenger-hunting skills to the test and find YOU the perfect ensemble – and fingers crossed, it would be something your favorite ladies would want to wear again (at least that’s the goal, right?!).
Tip #1: Who says bridesmaids dresses have to come from a bridal boutique? Explore your favorite local retailer!
With the flagship Nordstrom store just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from my home, I had to start here. For under $200, this strapless ruched Monique Lhuillier dress caught my eye. The ruching amps up this classic silhouette, making it the perfect choice for an evening wedding – and that cocktail party a couple months down the road!

Tip #2: Pleats are on trend
Can’t quite fully embrace a head-to-toe pleated gown? (Me neither – yet at least!) Never fear – baby steps are the key!
This pleated gem was uncovered at the online fashion retailer, asos, for just under $100 and boasts an ever-classic boat-neck collar. The subtle hint of gold in the simple belt dresses this look up just enough to make it the perfect selection for an afternoon affair.

Tip #3: Go bold! Go neutral!
What’s a girl to do? Though The Today Show chose to embrace the ever-bold jewel-toned hues (which I love!), I couldn’t help but rebel and focus my attention on the elegant world of neutrals. This soft-spoken palette of hues allows for such versatility of wear after the wedding day and Target’s ruffle neck shantung dress caught my eye. Not just for its playful neckline, but for the price! Who can beat $70 for this look?!

Tip #4: The skirt – shirt combo
I am drooling over this sequence and lace combination. Your ‘maids are sure to love you because after your big day, the sequin skirt could easily be dressed down by paring it with a simple t-shirt or classic, understated blouse.

Though I can’t find the exact skirt featured in JarvieDigital’s photo, I did find this great silver sequin pencil skirt from Banana Republic for only $98 – can’t beat that!
