Samantha and Alex: Seattle, Washington

Just the thought of writing this blog post brings so much joy! From the very first time Samantha and I sat down for coffee, she just had this giddy excitement to her and I just knew immediately that we would have a fun year planning a wedding! And then I met Alex and saw the two of them together and just knew that they had found their perfect match! They both love so passionately and have such a gentle maturity to their relationship.

Samantha and Alex had selected Pacific Tower to host their December wedding. Though the event space is only on the 8th floor, it’s home to one of the most incredible views of Seattle – including CenturyLink Field – home to their beloved Seahawks. Samantha and Alex had wanted a wedding celebration full of city lights and candle light. This was accomplished with strung bistro lighting by Crimson Haze Event Design and lots of soft candles throughout provided by Studio 3 Floral. Their rich, jewel-tone color palette full of masala, purple, gold, green and navy completed their design look.

These sweet souls are truly kindred spirits. Samantha and Alex had both decided to write a handwritten note for each other to be delivered before the first look, though this was a surprise for both of them as they hadn’t discussed it with each other! Samantha also surprised Alex with a Seahawks ice sculpture and Alex had surprised Samantha with a new wedding band. They both wanted to do something extra special for each other!

Samantha is such a natural beauty and when you add the most perfect wedding dress and stunning hair and makeup by KLS Makeup Artistry, she surely made for the most stunning bride! Samantha and Alex’s two biggest wish list items for their wedding was that they had plenty of food and a rockin’ dance party. Between the passed appetizers, cheese display, delicious buffet and two different wedding cakes (with overall four different cake flavors), it’s safe to say nobody went hungry! And as far as a rockin’ party went, let’s just say that dance floor stayed full with some 90s fan favorites such as the Spice Girls and N’Sync.

Samantha and Alex wrapped up their reception with a sweetheart dance – which they both have later admitted was their favorite part of the day!

Over the course of the last year, Samantha and Alex have truly become friends and we are so honored to have been their planner! I can’t wait to see where their life takes them as the years go on!

Cheers to the newlyweds!
