Jean + Aaron: Seattle, Washington

I actually didn’t meet Jean in person until about 6 weeks out from her wedding. Jean and Aaron live in Oregon, so we spoke primarily over Facetime and email leading up to her wedding. It’s a very rare circumstance that I’ll book a client without meeting them in person first – I like to know that we’re a good fit all around as weddings tend to be one of the biggest days of your life! I didn’t have to worry about being a good personality fit with Jean and her sweet mom Linda though. Both Jean and Linda are such kind-hearted people. Jean was so excited to be marrying the love of her life. And Linda just wanted to ensure that her daughter had a dream wedding.

Jean and Aaron wanted a forest and summer camp vibe for their wedding with a heavy emphasis on pizza and beer. And did they definitely did get this. It was a surprisingly hot day in Seattle for May with temps reaching 87 degrees. (I know our Dallas clients are thinking…that’s it!) But, it was starting to feeling like summer in Seattle. Floressence came to bring the beautiful flowers and decorated with lavender, dusty purple, sage green, white and undercurrents of eggplant. Jean’s dad hand built the most beautiful arbor which complimented perfectly with Floressence’s stunning arch flowers.

The ceremony was in this adorable hidden spot among the trees. Jean wore a stunning blush dress from BHLDN that looked like it was made perfectly just for her! Jean and  Aaron kept their bridal party small and included both of their brothers standing by their side – Aaron’s brother as the best man and Jean’s brother as the Man of Honor. Jean’s dog Tabi, even became the sweet ring bearer.

After the ceremony, guests made their way upstairs to the reception, where they were greeted with passed sushi and the bar. When Jean and Aaron had finished taking photos, the reception began! They were introduced by walking down the beautiful staircase. Tutta Bella catered the reception with their delicious pizza, salad and lasagna. They brought several different types of pizzas to fit everybody’s needs – including Margherita, Bianca, Mediterranean and my personal favorite was a chile-infused pizza.

After dinner, the dance floor remained packed all night long as family and friends partied the night away among the glass window overlooking the forest trees. Jean and Aaron wrapped up the night with a bubble exit.

Congratulations to you two! We wish you many, many years of future happiness!
