Love this wedding! Lauren first called me from Florida and told me she was going to be planning her wedding long-distance and that she wasn’t going to be in Seattle until the week of her wedding. She was finishing up her degree while her fiancé Dave was in Canada also working on his last few months of school…and in the meantime, they had just started planning their wedding which was 6 months away. Talk about busy lives!! As Lauren and I were chatting, she told me that one of the most important things to her was to find a wedding planner who could help bring both families together during the week of the wedding – her family is from Arkansas and Dave’s is from Canada, so this was truly a destination wedding as all guests visited Seattle from out-of-town. She wanted to make sure her wedding celebration provided a fun, relaxing ambiance for her family and friends. When I told her that my in-laws are also from Arkansas, and that we faced the same challenges with my own wedding in wanting to make sure we created this same ambiance, we instantly bonded! 🙂
DeLille Cellars in Woodinville, Washington provided the perfect atmosphere for a beautiful outdoor wedding that would showcase all that the Northwest has to offer! Also, for their rehearsal dinner they took all of their guests on a private tour of Safeco Field, and then hit Pyramid Brewery afterwards where guests not only enjoyed dinner, but their favor bags filled with peanuts, popcorn, and cracker jacks!
All of these images were captured by the fabulous Michelle Moore, who made Lauren and Dave feel instantly at ease. Michelle was a blast to work with!
