Seattle is a wonderfully romantic city to have a wedding in. I have worked a number of weddings in Seattle and the surrounding area and I would like to share with you a list of venues are really special. Each one has its own unique benefits and features to offer couples, and they are all absolutely stunning places to tie the knot.
THE WOODMARK HOTEL
This venue is situated right on the water of Lake Washington on the outskirts of Seattle. Not only are there breathtaking views of Lake Washington, but you can also see the Olympic Mountains rising in the distance. This makes for absolutely stunning photographs. The Woodmark Hotel offers couples the premier waterfront wedding location in all of the Seattle area. In fact, the venue won the Seattle Bride’s Best of 2015 award for “Best Place for a Waterfront Wedding.” There are a number of different reception options available at the hotel that can accommodate up to 200 guests. There is also a world-class spa on-site.
SEABROOK TOWN HALL
This cute little venue is outside of Seattle in the beach town of Seabrook. The venue is modeled after the coastal architecture you might see in the American northeast around New England. There is a steep chapel and it even has a bell tower. You can get married indoors or outdoors. The interior of the building has high pitched ceilings with a classic open feel to the space. This is a great spot for smaller weddings. The venue can only fit 120 people inside for a ceremony and only 200 outside. If you have a small wedding, and you like cute, picturesque beach towns that look like they walked right out of a storybook, Seabrook Town Hall has a lot to offer.
COLUMBIA WINERY
This venue just got a full renovation in 2017. This is one of, if not the, largest winery venues in the Seattle area. Columbia Winery offers indoor and outdoor venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The recently renovated Barrel Room is one of the more unique places to have a wedding reception. It is a mix of wine country ambiance and modern elegance rolled into one wide room. Barrels line the walls and the ceiling is high. This is a really wonderful spot to photograph and have an elegant yet laid back reception.
DELILLE CELLARS
This ten-acre estate is a charming and elegant place to host a wedding. There are gardens and ponds nestled all over the grounds, and the European style chateau architecture provides a certain ambiance that is unique to DeLille. The interior is filled with fireplaces and brass chandeliers emitting a rustic yet sophisticated aura. The grand room inside the chateau can entertain up to 200 guests in comfort. You can choose to get married outside on the grounds amidst their charming gardens and ponds. There is even a hidden lawn lined with cedar trees that makes for a scenic and beautiful wedding ceremony. This is one of my favorite spots to photograph.
