Lindsey and Don: Pensacola, Florida

One of my greatest joys is reaching the wedding day of an amazing client. And one of my greatest sadness is reaching the wedding day of an amazing client.

I know, I know, that’s confusing. But that’s exactly how I felt at Lindsey and Don’s wedding this summer. Lindsey and I have been planning her beach wedding for about 10 months. And even though I couldn’t WAIT to see her marry the love of her life and to see all of her bright Caribbean colors in action, I knew I would miss chatting with her on a regular basis.

With that said though, I was so excited to watch Lindsey and Don profess their love for each other in Florida with an intimate ceremony of just their closest friends and family. Upon arriving to Florida, we were welcomed with a massive amount of heat and humidity. But nobody let that discourage them!

We started their wedding day with a first look. However, that didn’t last long as it was hot and we didn’t want them to sweat too much before the ceremony. A prayer was answered and right before guests arrived, the sun went behind a cloud and created the perfect light breeze. Lindsey walked towards Don on the beach holding the prettiest tropical bouquet by Supposey. The beach arch and décor was romantic and fit in perfectly with the surrounding Pensaocala Beach colors.

From the very beginning of the planning process, Lindsey and Don knew that they wanted a rockin’ beach party. We searched high and low for the perfect venue that fit that description until we came across Landshark Landing at Margaritaville Beach Hotel. This was the home to their Colorful Caribbean theme. From the big, bold flowers to the reggae music, this was the beach wedding that they had dreamed up. Everybody danced and sweated the night away in celebration.
