Charles turned 50 this year and had planned on spending his birthday and spring break in one of his favorite spots, Cabo. The day after he and his family arrived, a few friends stopped by and surprised Charles for an early birthday dinner. On the day of Charles’ actual birthday, those same friends along with 15 other close friends stopped by for the fiesta of a lifetime. The party was equipped with a donkey, a piñata, one of the greatest chefs, and Charles’ all-time favorite musician, Sammy Hagar. Everyone ate, drank, laughed and joined Sammy in singing Happy Birthday to Charles. At the end of the party, right before the whole group left for Cabo Wabo, Charles said ‘I’ve been to almost all of Sammy’s birthday parties…. it’s about time he showed up to mine’.
