Featured Venue: Villa Turquesa (Cabo)
With its gorgeous beaches and breathtaking sunsets, it is no wonder why beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is such a popular destination for wedding ceremonies. I was recently invited to photograph a wedding for Erica and Steve in Cabo that was held at the Villa Turquesa resort and was instantly blown away by the pure elegance of this venue.
This luxury resort had all the amenities needed to make both the happy couple, and their guest, feel comfortable and relaxed. It is situated on a cliff, one-half mile away from downtown Cabo San Lucas. It has 9 bathrooms, 11 bedrooms, and offered a massive amount of space for everyone in attendance. The inside has 15,00 square feet of luxurious area, and there is also 10,000 square feet of outdoor area that provides an intimate, private escape for everyone. This spacious mansion also has one of the most impressive terraces that I have ever seen. It features an infinity pool, outdoor fireplace, and a large dining area that can comfortably seat up to 60 people, that provides an impressive view of the Pacific Ocean’s stunning beach.
Up to 20 adults and 8 children can sleep at the Villa Turquesa, and it is able to accommodate up to 100 guests for wedding parties. To hire an outside caterer, you would first need to have them approved by the staff at the Villa Turquesa, or you could hire their in-house chef, Chef Lorenzo, to cook the food for you. He prepares delicious, mouth-watering meals starting at only $200 for small parties of one to eight people. Bartender services are also available starting at $120 for up to eight people.
When I attended Erica and Steve’s wedding, I was able to capture many breathtaking photos thanks to the gorgeous layout of the venue. As they were exchanging their vowels on the terrace, the infinity pool provided a simple, yet elegant, backdrop that made the couple stand out in a radiant glow. Erica and Steve also did an exceptional job picking out the color scheme for the wedding. The off-white and pink colors perfectly complimented the sandy beach and the beautifully-crafted architecture that was placed throughout the venue.
This massive 3-story villa cost around $5,500 per night to rent, which is actually a great price when considering the massive amount of space and top-of-the-line amenities that it has to offer. If you are looking for a perfect getaway to host your wedding, this is it. The Villa Turquesa offers a secluded piece of paradise in Cabo San Lucas that can offer a wedding venue and a honeymoon at the same time. The pure breathtaking elegance of the place is sure to bring up fond memories for you and your spouse for years to come. The staff is also extremely helpful and nice, and are willing to go out of their way to ensure that your stay there is good. The entire layout of the resort is so exceptional and luxurious that once you are there, you will never want to leave.
