FOUR SEASONS’ AWARD WINNING VENUE

Honored with several awards over the years, Four Seasons is my preferred venue in my work as a photographer. I always look forward to these assignments because I know it will be a day of beauty.

TOWER OR TUSCAN VILLA SUITES?

It isn’t unusual to receive requests to photograph the bride, groom, or guests in their tower or Tuscan villa suites. They make lovely backdrops with deep woods and luxurious earth-hued fabrics. The balconies and their French doors are always a popular site for photos. For outdoor photos, the colorful gardens in the private courtyards below are also often requested. I’ll never forget the kindness of the bride who insisted I have a day at the spa as a guest! I’ve found that many guests attending the weddings stay for their own retreats, soaking up the sun by the beautiful pool and bar, then heading out for a taste of the nightlife in Dallas.

FOUR THEMES FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE

I recommend Four Seasons because the ceremony site fee is $1500 during peak dates and $1000 for off-peak dates with a guest capacity for up to 500. The selection of Country/Golf Club, hotel, or ballroom setting would be tempting for any bride. A friend chose ballroom. (I thought she would choose outdoor.) I couldn’t wait to see the lovely photographs I would be taking of her in her beautiful gown next to her fiance’ in that grand setting of arched windows and chandeliers.

FOUR SEASONS’ DESIGN IS ALL INCLUSIVE

As a top resort, Four Seasons is designed so one need not leave, whether it be to eat out, drive through Starbucks, play tennis, or get your morning run in. Of course, there are the lovely golf courses situated across grounds from the children’s playground and the pristine, sparkling clear pools.

FLORISTS, WEDDING CAKES, CHEFS AND MUSIC

One of the added benefits of Four Seasons is their location in close proximity to any number of vendors that a bride might wish for. There are florists that specialize in any wedding theme desired. Wedding cakes for every whim are available for the bride to choose from by tastings and designs. DJs and bands abound for any preference in musical style. Caterers and chefs appealingly offer a bride her choice of  cuisine. With such variety, there are many choices for every budget.

BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE

Beautiful weddings at Four Seasons make me glad I chose to work in photography. I love that the music is almost visible in the air over the light clinking of glasses of champagne. I never tire of filming the thousand tiny pinpoints of the candles amidst the soft, pale blossoms or the line of the upraised faces of the bridesmaids as the bouquet begins it’s journey through the air. Somehow, despite the soft, subtle lighting, the camera always picks up the sparkles in every pair of eyes.
