Last spring we had the great pleasure of planning Cameron and Jared’s wedding in McKinney, TX. With Cameron living in Arizona, and her family here in Texas, we were able to pull off the perfect event for the happy couple and all of their family and friends! We loved all of of the blush pinks and accents of turquoise that were incorporated throughout the ceremony and reception. We hope that you enjoy this wedding as much as we did!

Carmen–Charles’ Hawaiian Reception

Carmen and Charles tied the knot on the beautiful island of Maui! They decided to come back home to Dallas, TX and throw a Hawaiian themed reception to celebrate with all of their friends! Upon arrival guests were greeted by tiki torches and hula dancers who passed out fun lei’s and served mai-tais. Gil’s Elegant Catering provided a yummy spread – Huli Huli Chicken, Coconut Rice, Macaroni Salad, which are all Hawaiian favorites. Abbey from Chips and Salsa Designs created the adorable pineapple logo which was branded throughout their reception on cookies, koozies, and other signage. The hula dancers performed and taught guests how to hula, which was definitely a highlight of the evening. We absolutely adored working with Carmen, Charles, and their sweet daughter Mabry and had so much fun pulling this reception together!

Up, Up, And Away–It’s Carson’s Third Birthday!

We are super excited that we were featured on Hostess With The Mostess this past weekend. Kelly Simants of Sweet Pea Events planned her son’s third birthday party with the theme “Up, Up, and Away – It’s Carson’s Third Birthday”!

She started off by sending out invites that were literally paper airplanes that could fly across the room. The party was held at a really cool flight museum in Addison, TX in an airplane hangar. Kids and adults both enjoyed vintage planes and the ride they all took on a world war II amphibious boat. Guests also enjoyed “In Flight Service” from Gloria’s Mexican Restaurant, Carson’s favorite place to eat. (Ours too)

Centerpieces were cotton balls for clouds, painted wooden airplanes, and a drawing of an airplane with pictures of Carson for every month between ages 2 and 3. For favors, Kelly spray painted cereal boxes and made small suitcases out of them, filling them with glider airplanes and other fun goodies. These suitcases were placed in “Baggage Claim”. The cake was an ombre design which incorporated the blue and orange from the invites and other décor, with a cute custom banner on top.
