Once a meat tray was delivered to the hotel room picked up by family member that smelled rancid! Everyone was afraid to eat it for fear of getting sick, but it was going to be a long day, so I sent my second shooter to Chicken Express to pick up food for everyone. We certainly did NOT need a bride passing out during photos!

Just recently, no one was around to help direct/organize people for the start of the ceremony. I found the venue “lady” and she looked at me blankly and said “that wasn’t her job, she is in no way a planner, she is here simply to facilitate the building” so meanwhile I directed people to nicely have a seat, line up mothers, and attendants, and began the ceremony giving a wave for when the next person should walk down the aisle ALL WHILE shooting while the venue “lady” sat in her office. The couple was extremely grateful. I will tell this story to everyone who is considering not at LEAST having a Day-Of coordinator, you can’t assume the venue person will help you!

So…I didn’t have a planner at my wedding. And… when my flowers arrived, they were WRONG! They were exactly what I told my florist I did NOT want…. big ugly BALLS of flowers, completely wrapper in ribbon… when we had planned on the wildflower look with long, unwrapped stems. WHOA. There was no one to fix this little dilemma, so we just weddinged on with the wrong flowers! SAD right? I needed some Sweet Pea in my life on my wedding day
