Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I was one of “those girls” who started piecing together her dream wedding at the tender age of 12. I could spend hours thumbing through the latest bridal magazines, carefully clipping pictures of the meticulously crafted table-scapes and awe-inspiring floral arrangements. I kept each of the pictures in a treasured notebook and loved being able to watch my style evolve as I continued to encounter great design elements throughout the years (ah, the days before Pinterest!).
Finally, in 2008, I had the joy of marrying my best friend — and becoming a Sweet Pea bride! With Kelly’s help, we pulled off the perfect downtown Seattle soiree and I was able to experience the Sweet Pea way of planning firsthand.

I love University of Washington sports, traveling to new destinations — near and far, and spending time with my amazing family, which includes my husband, adorable daughter, and our 22-pound cat (he’s not fat, he’s just big-boned).
